Inger Edelfeldt was born in 1956 in Stockholm. Even as a child, she told stories and illustrated them, something that would later become her occupation.
This Swedish author is nowadays a well-known writer whose work has been translated to numerous languages.
Jim in the mirror is a story about a teenager who, step by step, discovers he is not like the other boys. At the age of fifteen, he realizes what is happening to him: girls leave him indifferent. But when he meets Matt he starts his struggle against society, his parents… Jim understands and accepts that love between two men is not despicable or dirty.
