Anne Karali, also known as Gudule, was born in Brussels in 1945. After finishing her studies in Arts and Decoration in Belgium, she spent five years working as a journalist in the Middle East. After coming back to France, she collaborated with several magazines and worked in the radio, encouraging those programs that dealt with comic books. Over the past years, she has focused on literature. She has written several picture books for children and stories that deal with topical issues in an enjoyable way.
It’s the middle of September, the back to school. In 4th A class group, all girls are gazing the new boy, Thomas. For Elsa, he is “the great Blue”, no more, no less. It’s a mutual admiration that results in a sweet flirt… Until one day, when an alarmed teacher decides to warn Elsa’s parents… Thomas is seropositive. Soon, all people in the school is informed about it.
Thomas wants to live his life like everybody else. He does not want to be looked down by the others, he does not want the others feel sorry of him. But, to get that, he will have to fight.
