Daniel Martín (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, 1970) is a teacher and an educational psychologist. A writer and a narrator, he teaches several courses about reading encouragement, storytelling at school, school libraries and other issues regarding the development of reading abilities. He contributes to several blogs of reading encouragement and children’s literature. He is principal of the school CEIP Los Caserones (Teide) and he has written several books for children.
Can, should a story about domestic violence be given to children in the form of a picture book? We think Daniel Martín and Ramón Trigo have done it with much sensitivity and intelligence, offering us a very good book, which can be useful for dealing with the issue of domestic violence, especially at school.
