Once upon a time a tsar in Russia who loved theater. That is why the conductor of the Imperial Theatre came to an idea and wrote to the most famous composer in the country, asking for a beautiful novelty to surprise his majesty. This story, which sounds like a tale, took actually place in 1888. Famous composer’s name was Pjotr Iljich Tchaikovsky. And the “beautiful novelty” for the tsar was “The Sleeping Beauty”.
