Christophe Gallaz was born in 1948 in Valeyres-sous-Rances (Switzerland) and studied at Lausanne University. A writer and a journalist, he has worked for several press agencies in Switzerland and France and he has written and published numerous books, both for children and for adults.
White Rose was the name of a German resistance group in World War II; some of their members were executed by the Nazis. White Rose is, therefore, the symbolic name of a girl who one day decides to follow the trail of a truck full of people, eventually discovering a Nazi concentration camp.
Her constant visits to the camp carrying food to the Jewish children are cut short by a bullet shot by a German soldier, who thinks that “the enemy is everywhere”.

Helme Heine ha fallecido el pasado 20 de noviembre en Russell (Nueva Zelanda).
Helme Heine fue uno de los autores de libros ilustrados más reconocidos y de mayor éxito de nuestro tiempo. Sus libros han sido leídos por varias generaciones, han adquirido la categoría de clásicos y seguirán entre los preferidos por los pequeños lectores.
Nos sentimos profundamente desolados ante la noticia del fallecimiento de Jutta Bauer, que falleció inesperadamente el 10 de septiembre. Con su muerte, no solo perdemos a una gran autora e ilustradora, perdemos a una amiga.
